About MicroArt™ Alopecia Hair Loss Solution

If you suffer from Alopecia we can help!

Alopecia areata is a type of hair loss that occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, which is where hair growth begins. Typical first symptoms of Alopecia are small bald patches. The underlying skin is unscarred and looks superficially normal. These patches can take many shapes but are most usually round or oval. Alopecia most often affects the scalp and beard but may occur on any hair-bearing part of the body including eyebrows and pubic areas.  Different skin areas can exhibit hair loss and regrowth at the same time. The disease may also go into remission for a time or may be permanent. It is common in children.

Loss of sections of hair caused by Alopecia can be treated with MicroArt. Colors are custom blended and applied in microlayers until the desired results are attained.  MicroArt is a NEW semi-permanent makeup procedure that is used to camouflage Alopecia. It lasts up to 3 years and can be touched-up as needed. The results are completely natural and the procedure takes about an hour per session with no downtime.  Colors are custom blended and applied in microlayers until the desired results are attained.

Before & After Photos of MicroArt Semi Permanent Makeup for Men

Numerous steps are taken during each appointment to ensure that you will love your MicroArt Semi Permanent Alopecia Camouflage.

THE DESIGN: Detailed measurements of your eyebrows will be taken with an erasable so you can see, adjust and optimize the shape before micro-pigmentation begins to get the look you will love. We specialize in very natural looking results and most clients choose MicroArt because they are looking for natural looking eyebrows – yet all our work is customized so we can create the precise look that you want to achieve. Your Micro Artist will consult with you about your individual needs and style that you would like to achieve.

THE COLOR: Our Micro Artist will consult with you about the best color. Because our colors are custom blended we have an unlimited selection. Some clients prefer to bring in their favorite eyebrow makeup for us to match the color.

ERR ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION: During the 1st session, we always err on the side of caution with color, thickness, arch height and length as we can always add more on the 2nd session. Your eyebrows will look great after the first session but will look even better after the 2nd appointment. Once our mineral-based pigment is applied in thin layers, you will be able to check the work after each layer to ensure you are delighted.

TOUCH UP APPOINTMENT: Because the procedure is done in two appointments, the eyebrows are always slightly underdone in the first session leaving room to make them thicker, darker, longer or more arched in your 2nd appointment. During your 2nd appointment, the shape and color are fine-tuned.

EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS: All MicroArt Technicians are certified by MicroArt Founder, President, and Master Micro Artist Tanya York. Each Technician undergoes months of study and training prior to being certified and must be as skilled as Ms. York herself before being permitted to work on clients.

In addition, women who are cancer survivors lose their brows during chemotherapy. With MicroArt, they can get them back in just an hour.

We will help choose the most natural looking color for you. Our colors are custom blended, non-toxic, they are made from natural mineral-based pigments.

Individual 3D hair strokes are gently layered in the dermal layer of the skin. MicroArt™ utilizes proprietary technology and a system emulating the look of real hair. Our Equipment uses a single acupuncture needle that gently vibrates on the dermal layers of the skin depositing a mineral based pigment into the skin. The pigment is precisely applied in thin layers until the ideal color and shape are achieved creating a completely natural look. During the 1st session, we air on the side of caution. Less is more. This session is about getting a nice base started and the fine-tuning takes place in the 2nd appointment.

2-4 weeks after your 1st session you’ll return for a touch-up appointment to review the color and shape with your technician and make adjustments if needed to ensure that you have the look that you want to achieve.

How many sessions do I need?

Initially, 2 sessions 2 weeks apart are needed for Eyebrows or Eyeliner, 4 sessions 2 weeks apart for the Scalp. During each session, more pigment is added to the skin in thin layers gradually changing the color of the skin and matching it to your natural hair texture and color. You see results after each session. Each Alopecia client is unique, so the number of sessions needed to obtain the desired results will vary based on each client’s individual situation.

What can I expect after each session?

After each session, the skin will possibly be red for about an hour. You will see the results right away as the pigment settles into the skin. After each session the pigment will appear darker then over the next 2 weeks, it lightens up in time for your next session where we add more pigment. After each session, the color fades less. We will give you an aftercare kit that should be used 2 times per day for 5 days after each session. This will keep the skin sanitized and moisturized. The results are amazing!

Why MicroArt Semi-Permanent Makeup is the premier choice for active women of all ages. Erring on the side of caution is a commendable philosophy and one that MicroArt endorses in its practice.  So when it [...]

Permanent makeup is applied using heavy gauge needles or a blade to penetrate deep into the skin causing bleeding, bruising, scabbing, scarring and downtime.  Permanent makeup uses various forms of tattoo inks that are toxic to the body; its colors are harsh and change over time. So people can end up with blue or orange inks in the skin.  Another issue with permanent makeup is that as our skin ages and start to sag the ink end up in the wrong place so it actually accentuates the signs of aging.

Permanent makeup artists’ training is only a few days. Their minimal training and the equipment & products used all contribute to the harsh look associated with permanent makeup and microblading.  The best way to fix is with MicroArt.

MicroArt Semi Permanent makeup, on the other hand, has the most natural results. There is NO downtime, NO bruising, NO scabbing, NO scarring.  Because MicroArt technology uses an acupuncture needle as thin as a human hair that vibrates on the dermal layer of the skin 80 to 100 times per second, the results are precise. Colors are custom blended with non-toxic mineral-based pigments. The design is customized to fit each patient’s look and desires by our Artist. It takes about 1 year to train a Micro-Artist to perform the procedure. The results are amazing.
