MicroArt is a proprietary technology developed by acclaimed Hollywood entrepreneur and former special effects makeup expert Tanya York — with the help of a team of mechanical engineers and cosmetic biochemists.

The goal was to develop a makeup procedure that would look more natural than any form of permanent or semi-permanent makeup and eliminate all side effects. MicroArt lasts up to three years so, as your skin ages and fashions change, you have the option of redesigning your eyebrows to create a more youthful or stylish look. The procedure takes only an hour with no downtime. MicroArt clients fully participate in creating their desired look, shape and color. Numerous steps are taken during each appointment to ensure that you will love your MicroArt Semi Permanent Eyebrows.

THE DESIGN: Detailed measurements of your eyebrows will be taken with an erasable so you can see, adjust and optimize the shape before micro-pigmentation begins to get the look you will love. We specialize in very natural looking results and most clients choose MicroArt because they are looking for natural looking eyebrows – yet all our work is customized so we can create the precise look that you want to achieve. Your Micro Artist will consult with you about you individual needs and style that you would like to achieve.

THE COLOR: Our Micro Artist will consult with you about the best color. Because our colors are custom blended we have an unlimited selection. Some clients prefer to bring in their favorite eyebrow makeup for us to match the color.

ERR ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION: During the 1^st session we always err on the side of caution with color, thickness, arch height and length as we can always add more on the 2^nd session. Your eyebrows will look great after the first session but will look even better after the 2^nd appointment. Once our mineral-based pigment is applied in thin layers, you will be able to check the work after each layer to ensure you are delighted.

TOUCH UP APPOINTMENT: Because the procedure is done in two appointments, the eyebrows are always slightly underdone in the first session leaving room to make them thicker, darker, longer or more arched in your 2^nd appointment. During your 2^nd appointment, the shape and color are fine tuned.

EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS: All MicroArt Technicians are certified by MicroArt Founder, President and Master Micro Artist Tanya York. Each Technician undergoes months of study and training prior to being certified, and must be as skilled as Ms. York herself before being permitted to work on clients.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE PROCEDURE?

STEP 1: THE DESIGN

Your eyebrows will be designed based on your bone & muscle structure, shape of your eyes, nose and face as well as personal style. Detailed measurements are taken and your eyebrows are penciled on for your approval. Your eyebrows can be completely reshaped to perfectly frame your eyes.

STEP 2: THE COLOR

We will help choose the most natural looking color for you. Our colors are custom blended, non-toxic, they are made from natural mineral-based pigments.

STEP 3: PIGMENTATION

Individual 3D hair strokes are gently layered in the dermal layer of the skin. MicroArt™ utilizes proprietary technology and a system emulating the look of real hair. Our Equipment uses a single acupuncture needle that gently vibrates on the dermal layers of the skin depositing a mineral based pigment into the skin. Pigment is precisely applied in thin layers until the ideal color and shape is achieved creating a completely natural look. During the 1st session we air on the side of caution. Less is more. This session is about getting a nice base started and the fine tuning takes place in the 2nd appointment.

STEP 4: THE TOUCH UP

2-4 weeks after your 1st session you’ll return for a touch-up appointment to review the color and shape with your technician and make adjustments if needed to ensure that you have the look that you want to achieve.

MicroArt: Every eyebrow is custom designed. MicroArt takes into consideration the persons muscle and bone structure, eye shape, current eyebrow thickness and personal style. Half of your session is spent on design as it is that critical in achieving the optimal look for our clients.

Permanent Makeup: Most Permanent make up is applied without much thought to the design and how it effects the shape of the face. Often, all eyebrow hair is shaved off and cookie cutter stencils are used instead of personalized, custom designs.

#4: THE EQUIPMENT & PRODUCTS

MicroArt: State-of-the-art technology is used only by licensed MicroArt technicians. This equipment features a single acupuncture needle that gently vibrates on the outer layer of the skin inserting a custom blend of natural, non-toxic mineral-based pigments with extreme precision.

Permanent Makeup: Uses tattoo equipment which is available for purchase by anyone without training. Three to fourteen heavy gauge needles are used simultaneously to aggressively puncture the skin. This process of penetrates deep into the skin to injects inks, which are often toxic and cause bleeding, bruising, scabbing, scarring, and down time.

Permanent Makeup: Tattoos by any other name are simply, extremely painful.

MicroArt: $1,000. Price includes: The design, the procedure, a second touch up procedure two weeks later to perfect the color and shape, and complete after care products. Price reflects superior quality products, equipment, training and results.

Permanent Makeup: $100 and up. Cheaper inks, equipment, unregulated training (if any) and licensing, all of which produce harsh or damaging results.

MICROART™ CAN EVEN CORRECT PERMANENT MAKEUP AND MICRO BLADING!

MicroArt conceals and corrects permanent makeup by using colors that are carefully blended to conceal old permanent makeup inks. About half of our work is correcting permanent makeup and its side effects.

MicroArt can greatly improve and correct permanent makeup anywhere on the face or body. Once of the most common, lasting damage from Permanent Makeup is from its colors changing into green, blue, orange. We can camouflage this with custom blended flesh colors if it’s in the wrong place or correct the color by applying a natural color over the permanent makeup.

Another common problem that we see a lot with permanent make us is the design is wrong. This happens due to poor training of permanent makeup artist due to their training only being a few days as well as lack of experience. It’s common for eyebrows to be too thick, too high, too long or just uneven. Eyeliner tends to be way too thick and/or uneven. Another reason for the design being wrong is that over the years the skin stretches or contracts as people age, gain or lose weight. So both the shape can be redesigned, and the color changed, for all forms of Permanent Makeup, Cosmetic Tattooing and Micro Blading. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON MICROART™ SEMI PERMANENT EYEBROWS

Will my brows look normal the next day to go to work?

Yes, there will be slight redness for an hour or two after the appointment and your brows will look great right away!

Does the eyebrow procedure hurt?

Our clients say eyebrow waxing or threading is more painful. MicroArt uses a single acupuncture needle that gently vibrates on the outer dermal layers of the skin, therefore discomfort is minimal and there is no downtime. For clients that are more sensitive we can use a topical numbing cream.

How often do I need maintenance appointments for my eyebrows?

Maintenance appointments are optional. If you do not maintain MicroArt, it will completely fade away overtime. We suggest that if you want to maintain your eyebrows so that they always look their best plan on scheduling a touch up once a year.

Do I need a consultation?

Consultations are done over the phone for the eyebrow procedure where all questions are answered so that when you come in for your first appointment it is to start your treatment.
